Garry has been in general practice for more years than he cares to remember.  In that time he has had extensive experience in most areas of the law.  He can therefore bring an experienced, disciplined approach to a wide range of legal issues.

Currently, Garry is concentrating his practice in the areas of:

  • Property, including leases, mortgages and retirement villages - look at the property page or retirement village page for some of his papers.
  • General commercial advice, including computer contracts, for a wide range of clients and industries;
  • Estate planning and wills.

Garry is:

  • a Notary Public;
  • accredited by the Law Society of NSW as a Property Specialist;
  • a member of the NSW Society for Computers and the Law;
  • a member of the Retirement Village Association;
  • a member of Australian Legal Practice Management Association;
  • a member of the Australia Indonesia Business Council;
  • a member of Christchurch Anglican Church, Gladesville.
  • Australian Agent for Hawaiian Airlines;
  • founder of the Aviation Law Association of Australia & New Zealand and served as President and as a Committee member of the NSW Branch;
  • founding member of the Australian Aviation Museum Bankstown.

Garry is the Australian contributing author for the 2012 publication Real Estate Transactions - A practical Global Guide. This publication sets out the main characteristics, peculiarities and formalities which must be taken into account when affecting an investment in real estate in 31 countries worldwide.

Outside the office:

Garry has recently developed an interest in the Indonesian people and in doing business with Indonesia.

He canot claim to have scored a century at cricket, although he did once reach 50, which was rather good for a specialist number 11 batsman.  His hockey career with Sydney University lasted 20 years, and he can now live on his past glories.  His golf swing has to be seen to be believed.
