Anglican Church Requirements

We help Anglican parishes on general parish issues and with the preparation of ordinances for the sale, mortgage and lease of church trust property.

We advise many churches on their relationship with pre-schools using their sites.

Building Contracts 

A Parish which is planning to enter into a building contract needs to provide the Anglican Church Property Trust with a certificate from a lawyer that the terms of the building contract are acceptable.  

We provide the appropriate certificates.  However, parishes are reminded that they should obtain advice on the form of the building contract at an early stage of the project. Parishes who leave the certificate until the last minute often find that the project is delayed while amendments to the contract are negotiated.
