Joseph O'Mara

Joseph has been with Emil Ford Lawyers for several years and has enjoyed acting across a broad spectrum of the firm’s practice areas.

Joseph is currently focussing on the following practice areas:

• Corporate and commercial law
• Intellectual property law
• Not-for-profit law
• Employment law

Joseph’s enjoyment of languages originally caused him to stumble into a combined law degree and, whilst he still retains some Indonesian and French, Joseph has now fallen for the language of the law so long as it facilitates clear and concise communication.

Having chosen a Christian theology of law as the topic for his honours thesis, Joseph is interested in integrating other aspects of his life and hopes that his former amateur AFL career and passion for the sport may provide opportunities in sports law.
